My name is Debbie Ryan, I am the Principal of the Alaine Academy of Dance.
The Alaine Academy of Dance was established in Coventry in 1992
I started my dancing career at 8 years old, I trained at Pam Chaters Academy, which is based in Nuneaton.
Whilst there I appeared in shows, competed at many Festivals and National Championships, I also undertook my teaching exams, along with other qualifications in choreography and modeling.
Before opening the Academy in 1992, I danced professionally, partaking in numerous pantomimes and performing in the cabaret at Turners Merry-go-Round in Northampton.All of my examinations were taken with the British Theatre Dance Association to which my school is affiliated.
