British Theatre Dance Association ( B.T.D.A )

All of the pupils who attend classes will be entered for exams at regular intervals throughout the year.The subjects studied are as follows :

B.T.D.A Works With The Following Organisations

G.Q.A ( Graded Qualifications Alliance )
B.T.D.A Programmes lead to regulated qualifications through the Graded Qualification Alliance which is an Ofqual Accredited Awarding Organisation.

Dance U.K
B.T.D.A is a member of Dance U.K, one of the leading Dance Organisations in the United Kingdom.

C.D.E.T ( Council For Dance Education and Training U.K )
B.T.D.A is a member of the C.D.E.T and its programmes have been validated by them for over 20 years.

Q.C.A ( Qualifications and Curriculum Authority )
All qualifications gained through B.T.D.A. are recognised by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority ( Q.C.A ).

All Examinations are taken with the “British Theatre Dance Association” and are accredited to the C.D.E.T / Q.C.A and G.Q.A.

This means that the higher Examinations are equivalent to the skills and understanding at GCSE and A level standard.

The Examination sessions are held at the Academy on a Sunday.

The Academy has an excellent pass rate in all Examinations with high results.

The highest Examination award is a Platinum achieved by many.
